What is this all about?

Identifying outbreak areas
In the background, the app anonymously tracks people with symptoms and notifies you as you meet with one of them. In addition, you can check how safe your living area is on a real-time map, spiced with interesting statistics.
Report voluntarily
Yes, there'll be some trolls, but keeping in mind the state of emergency, I believe in the trustworthiness of the majority. The app periodically asks you whether you are still healthy or maybe you started producing symptoms so it can keep the map up-to-date.
Data Protection
Aligning with the GDPR, you can live with the right of to be forgotten. Therefore, you can irreversibly delete yourself and all your data from the application anytime.

How the app looks like?

Blazing fast rendering

Thanks to the effective algorithms running in the background, the app can display even millions of people who produce symptoms - all of them in real-time! If there are a lot of people, they will be clustered and displayed as a single person (e.g. one big circle, instead of many small ones).

Historical view

Track back how the upsurge looked like 14, 10 or 5 days ago so you can predict where will be the next outbreak area.

Interesting statistics

How many people got infected in total and only in your local area? What is the ratio of the symptoms? You can get answer for these and other questions too.

Save others!

The voluntarily self-report is just a tap. After it, you'll be visible on the map and you start leaving crumbs behind you (like Hansel and Gretel did). As someone bumps into your crumb, she or he will get notified since it is likely you've infected them. Naturally, it also works in the other way around.

Okay, I'm convinced. What should I do now?

Unfortunately, Apple and Google suspended all COVID-19 related apps in their app stores. Although they prevented profiteer and fraudulent apps from spreading, they have also banned truely helping apps, like iTransmit. Therefore I have contacted the Hungarian Government because if they decide to stand behind the initiative, I can make it available for everyone. Until they reply, please, subscribe for updates by entering your email address below so you can stay tuned or like/follow on Facebook.

The app (as it will be published) will be free and will not contain ads. I've created it in my free time so I can help others while keeping up-to-date with technology. Designing and developing took a plenty of my time and the operation will take a considerable amount of money and I prefer not paying it from my personal expenses. And I like pizzas. So if you like the concept of the app, you can be generous right here below:

From the amount received, I'll only use the minimum amount that covers the operation costs (licenses and server).
The rest of the money will be transferred to the Hungarian Red Cross Fund as a donation.
